Laser Alignment
It is a known fact throughout industry that one of the most common problems that cause early failures in machinery is misalignment of couplings. The load that is placed on the bearings due to the misalignment has a detrimental affect on the clearance settings for the application and causes excessive temperatures due to friction.
The second factor that was recently researched by electrical companies is the increase power consumption that misalignment incurs on motors.
Laser alignment is based on shaft centerline alignment, that for obvious reasons reduce all of the above mentioned conditions to the minimum. It is imperative that all high- speed machines are aligned correctly, as the rate of shaft rotation has a direct effect to the rate of deterioration.
A detailed report of alignment performed by the technician on site will be compiled and either faxed, e-mailed or hand delivered to your company after completion of task.
