Electrical Reticulation Thermal Monitoring (Infrared)

Thermal images are taken from all loads bearing or insulating components within sub-stations and electrical panels. We utilize fully radiometric infrared thermal imager with analytical software for image analysis photographs of faults found, which show temperature to be excessive in that area on the specific components. We also have an image scanner that will supply you with a computerised graphic display of the image that was collected.

It is recommended that a qualified electrician accompany the technician during the survey, to enable accurate reporting with regard to panel identification.
The faults that are detected during the survey will be presented in report format indicating where action is required. The image of the fault detected will be attached to the recommendation works order.

This report will be delivered and discussed in the same format and procedure as routine vibration analysis reports discussed earlier in this document.
If you are interested in this service or the purchase of equipment, our technician responsible for this service can do a presentation on site for you.
